i'm not sure about melbourne.in western australia,you may even buy a new small car for slightly over$10-12k,so if you are willing to pay up to$8k,you should be able to get a"reasonable"vehicle.if you are willing to pay that amount,better got o a dealer and that covers 3 months warranty.you can get a mechanic to check it before the warranty ** up.in terms of mileage,you can expect a car under normal use should be 20-25k per year.if it ** too high,it means it might be a rental vehicle.however,it the car ** under 100-150k,i won;t be too worry.don't buy from the internet as there h**e been some cases that people are cheated.they ask you to pay the money and you don;t even get to see the car!i'd suggest come over to see for yourself first.depends where you live,if you can get around without the car,it'll s**e you a lot of money! 20210311
